Shlama khalkown!
I've heard of "soybean milk", but now Rashi's got me thinking about "goybean milk"
Todah rabbah hakham Dawid for the supremely insightful reference!
And don't worry, av yaaqub, we need more tzaddikim like yourself to fulfill Y'shua's restoration of the fathers' hearts towards His children!
On a side-note, you guys left poor Christina hangin'! Bet she's feeling really now!
Don't worry though khati, I'm also 'in the same boat' and just turned 27.
Shalom ,
Akh Ryan

Don't worry though khati, I'm also 'in the same boat' and just turned 27. lol. True, but I'm not even supposed to tell my age online. Besides that, she's probably figured it out by now from what I told her via PM.
Really? I thought you were older than that. Who knew?

Shlama,
"goymilk" --- too funny.
Dawid and Christina, I thought both of you were older than what you are.

Shlama,
Well, from some of your comments, and based on most 20+ individuals that I know, the level of knowledge each of you have displayed in some of your posts concerning various topics, I assumed you had to be older than what you are. Most 20+ individuals I know are lacking in any appreciation for the Hebraic/Aramaic Scriptures and its history, textual criticism, etc. and lack of knowledge thereof. When I say I thought you were older, it's not meant as an insult, more of a compliment instead.
It's sad that young people these days, even if growing up in an environment surrounded with Hebrew or Aramaic, take no interest in it whatsoever. Sad.

I know. It's even more depressing for those of us who are interested in Hebrew/Aramaic and textual criticism, because we have no peers with whom to discuss it. But, Baruch HaShem, there are coming to be more and more of us. There's a great returning in our generation. Somebody lit a fire, and the enemy is going to have the devil of a time trying to put it out. (pardon the pun)
Shalom,
Dawid

No probs, Yaaqub, I certainly do take it as a compliment yet I remain humble.
And akhi Ryan, thanx for backing me up, LOL, felt a little alone there . And your comment on "goybean milk", priceless . I'm still killing myself laughing even though I myself am technically a goy, Greek to be exact.
Shalom, Shlama & Geia sou!
Khathi Christina.

Better go to a gym or something to try to fix my health, especially since my own father is aging way too quickly in my opinion. I even have some white hairs in my head, do you believe that? I know the feeling. I already have back trouble sometimes.

Rafa Wrote:Heard that sleeping on a hard bed helps. I really think a gym is a good idea, help the blood circulate in your body, fresh oxygen, keep your muscles in shape, so forth. Going to give it a try (it helps your exam performance according to what I read in some papers as well). It definitely does. I had a soft bed until recently and waking up always hurt. We replaced my matress and it's a lot better now.
Cool. Sounds like a good idea. Have you tried swimming?

Rafa Wrote:Swimming is the BEST type of exercise possible! I unfortunately live in Cold Montreal and have no indoor pool (well, our apartment does have one, but it's being fixed for the moment). Nice to know hard beds do fix the back, people keep saying that. I know those water beds are horrible, they can seriously distort your spine. So you can either move to Tahiti, or find another kind of exercise. What kinds of workout are you thinking about doing? Cross-training? Weights won't help you much, because you need to do a lot of cardio.
Yeah. They really do help. Swimming, believe it or not, is how I messed my back up to begin with.

Rafa Wrote:That's sad bro, I still want to do some swimming when possible, it makes me feel brand new. Cardio....maybe some 15 minutes then endurance training. Just to feel a little healthy, then I'll give the pool a try when it starts working again in our building (they are cleaning it up or whatever). If it continues this way, I'll wait until spring for the public pool. Oh, I'm not knocking swimming. It's great. Just make sure you do it right. I was on team and my coaches didn't even correct what I was doing, and I ended up messing myself up.
Cool.
How did we get to swimming and exercise from mixing meat and dairy? lol.
