Dear Yaaqub,
As much as I'm embarrassed to admit it, I can neither speak nor read Hebrew or Syriac (Assyrian).
I took some Hebrew lessons but that was a long time ago (probably 1999) and I've forgotten what I'd then learned.
I've also got 'The Little Red Book' (The Assyrian/Aramaic New Testament), but it's in Swadaya script, and I can't read it either.
I guess I bought these thinking that one day, I'd learn either Hebrew or Aramaic.
Who knows, I'm 56 now, there might still be time <!-- s:biggrin: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/biggrin.gif" alt=":biggrin:" title="Big Grin" /><!-- s:biggrin: --> .
I was told on good authority by someone who lived in Israel that the Messianic Jewish Community (there in Eratz Israel) had a hand in translating the Blue leather Hebrew/English Bible.
Could THAT be possible do you think?
Thanks for scanning those for me, your a good friend!
Shlama, Albion

Yes, all of these are from Greek. The only one that I know of in Hebrew that is translated from the Aramaic text (but also includes the Western 5) is the Hebrew-Aramaic New Covenant available from aramaicbooks.com I love this edition but as I said in another thread somewhere, the Hebrew needs a bit of work, but it is very good overall and worth whatever it costs to get a copy if you don't already have one and desire and Hebrew edition.
