Is the NASB the best English translation, or..
#1
Not all English translations of the Greek versions of the NT read alike or have the same text in every place, because the various Greek versions don't read alike and have the same text in every place. So, it depends on what Greek version of the NT you consider to be the more original Greek version, as it might have existed in the 1st century.

For me, when talking about the Greek versions, it comes down to what Text the English translation is translating from, not just how well the translations read. I think that the NASB is probably the better translation of the Alexandrian type Greek text than some of the others like the NIV, But, I don't think that Alex is the better Greek NT text version....The Byzantine is closer to what existed in the Greek version in the 1st century, but, versions are not the same as the Original, so.... I always look to the Original NT, and judge all by it. <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->
