MS 2080 in Estrangelo script

Is anybody familiar with this codex? It's very reminiscent of the Yonan Codex. The present text comprises Luke 14-23, John, Acts, and the Epistles. Scroll down to the second entry labeled "MS 2080"
"Even the pattern of stamping on the covers is of the same kind" is the remark given at this link........

The manuscript 2530 shows Romans 8:27b to 9:9a in four columns. There is a variation in Romans 8:27 (first column, second line, first word d'lba) where 2530 reads of the heart rather than the standard reading in Khabouris, Crawford and UBS 1905 of the spirit.

Yes, perhaps it was a scribal error. I hope it wasn't intentional. I've gotten used to western redactions but this is an eastern text of the Peshitta, is it not?

I don't believe so - the manuscript was recovered from St. Catherine's in Egypt, right? And then from the style of Estrangelo I think they've assigned the origin to Syria proper. So this would be a western, not eastern, copy.

Very old, though. Nice to have - especially if the copy originated from before the split at Ephesus.

Besides the Estrangelo script there's also some Eastern script and some Western script in it.

This is the other manuscript in the collection, which is in the more eastern script: (notice the Mesopotamian Estrangelo tends to be a bit more blockish and thicker in character, compare Khabouris and Yonan codices)
