2 Thessalonians 2:7 - alan - 09-15-2013
I'm trying to find the Aramaic word for "taken" in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 ... so I go to Peshitta.org, click on Tools, then Lexicon, and type in "taken" ... but then I get "the word was not found in the Lexicon."

What do I do? Can anyone help?

The word is "akhidh" (alef-kheth-yod-dalath), from the root "akhadh" (alef-kheth-dalath).
