I am confused. Is JOB part of the Jewish Bible (Tenahk)?
A Hebrew scholar and distinguished Jewish professor told me that JOB is older than the Torah.

Yes, Job is part of the greater Tanakh, but is believed by most textual scholars to be the first book written and completed chronologically, and as such its composition pre-dates the Torah as we have it today.
This conclusion was made primarily by linguistic analysis as Job is written in the oldest Hebrew dialect (by a significant margin) of any other book (i.e. oldest vocabulary, grammar, idioms, etc.).
