More proof that the Peshitta is a revision of the Old Scratch to make it more inline with the Imperial Byzantine Greek text:

For Luke 24:47, the I.B.G.T. reads:
"....And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached "

The Old Scratch reads:
"..... And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached "

The Peshitta reads:
".... And that repentance for remission of sins should be preached "
