You've often heard that the Peshitta is supposedly a revision of the Old Syriac to bring it more inline with the Imperial Byzantine Greek text.
The "Imperial Byzantine Greek" text in Mark 11:19 reads:
"When evening had come, he would go out of the city."
Please see the scan below.
The Old Scratch reads:
"And when evening had come, he would go outside of the city."
The Peshitta reads:
"And after it became evening, they went outside of the city."
Does the Peshitta seem to you to be a revision of the Old Scratch to bring it more inline with the Imperial Byzantine Greek text?
