Shlom lokh oh Paul,

It has been a while since I posted on this forum mainly due to the fact that I was out of the country for months.

Paul may Moryo Aloho be with you in this time and all other times!

I hope the surgery goes well, and I'll pray for you my brother that Aloho protects you and your family!

Let's keep Paul in our daily prayers. I would like to see him back on the forum and translating the aramaic for us. Everyone enjoys his presence here, and loves to be involved in his translation efforts.

Prayer can be work at times, a continual work. The Apostle Paul admonished us to be constant in prayer, to be in The Spirit continually. This is the pattern towards success. Besides, Satan is no lightweight, he has to be forced away from peoples situations, and it is a real victory inside for Christians when they win.

Shlama Akhi Paul:
I couldn't connect to Internet for many days and I just see your request for prayers... Be sure of the mines! Be confident in the Lord... and in doctors... Your concerns are logicall, but put everything in the Hands of the Lord...

Akhi Khabiba -

You may be surprised to remember me - it's been way too long, many bridges, many paths, still one faith. You must know, we are with you, always.

[quote="Paul Younan"]Akhay,
I'm flying out to Stanford University in the San Francisco area tonight to consult with two doctors who are considered the foremost experts/surgeons on this procedure. quote]

Let me know if you ever come out to stanford again. I'm 20 minutes from there. Both myself and my friend (who is in a priest, in an autocephalous church that has Assyrian church of the East apostolic lines, would like to see you. My friend uses the LAmsa peshitta and an English translation of the Liturgy of the Holy Apostles etc.

anyway take care

Dear Akhi Paul,

My prayers will be with you for your safe recovery from this medical problem.

Please consider surgery as your last resort. In general, be very cautious with what the doctors are saying to you... These guys often have their own financial benefits as their main concern (of course they would never admit to it).

Shlama,

Yuri.

Yuri,

How many physicians do you know personally, not professionally? If the answer is zero, as I suspect it is, then you have no basis upon which to form this opinion. I hope you can understand why your opinion might be held in such low esteem if the way you form opinions is based solely on a personal bad experience.

Much like Paul (with respect to your belief in OS primacy), I'd like like to see some proof backing up your assertions. If you have no proof then you owe physicians an apology.

Yuri,

The point of your post had nothing to do with the supposed effectiveness vs. ineffectiveness of a particular surgery. Good try though.

The point of your post also had nothing to do with good outcomes vs. poor outcomes. These last two posts of yours only obfuscates the truth.

With respect to physicians you said "These guys often have their own financial benefits as their main concern (of course they would never admit to it)." My question remains; how many physicans do you know personally? If the answer is zero, and I suspect it is, then you have no basis upon which to form your opinion. How many physcians do you know who have "their own financial interestes as their main concern"? This is THE question.

Why should the readers of this forum value any other opinion of yours if you can't back up your "facts" and why should we even bother to read any rebuttal when you refuse to answer THE question asked? I would ask again, please don't spin the question, will you answer my point?

Keith
