Shlama Akhay,
While reviewing this post, an idiom and a popular phrase come to mind. The idiom is 'door of opportunity' and the relative phrase is "Opportunity only knocks once."

Quote:Shlama Akhay,
Here's a comparison study of 1 Cor. 16:9. I'll use the ASV and the Greek Interlinear compared with Murdock and Lamsa.
(ASV) "...for a great door AND EFFECTUAL is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries."
(Greek Interlinear) "...for a door to me has been opened great AND EFFICIENT, and opposers are many."
(Murdock) "...because a great door is opened to me, WHICH IS FULL OF OCCUPATIONS; and the opposers are numerous."
(Lamsa) "For a great door, FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES, is opened to me, and adversaries are many."
