By "tradition of scripture and my church on this one" - I meant the "traditional understanding of scripture by my church." Bad wording - sorry.

I didn't mean to imply that your understanding of scripture is inferior to the understanding of my tradition.

If the collection was to be made EVERY week on Khad b'Shabba - doesn't that necessarily imply that these believers who were being written to by Paul were gathered on Khad b'Shabba....EVERY week?

And if they were all gathered - are you suggesting that the only reason they were ALL gathered EVERY week on Khad b'Shabba, was to simply collect money?
