Matthew 11:17 revisited
#1
Shlama Akhay,

This one fits kinda nice in the 'Wordplay' section as well as the 'Poetry' section.

Shlama Akhay,

Not only is Matti 11:17 poetic but it makes use of a root which can mean either 'mourn' or 'dance'--(rqd).

w'Amriyn (and say) zamron (we sang) lukhon (to you) w'La (and not) raqedton (did you dance) w'Alyan (and we mourned) lukhon (to you) w'La (and not) arqedton (did you lament).
