Akhan Larry found the "fellowhip" and "dispensation" in various Greek mss, and in Peshitta, it is Fwnrbdm

Here is CAL for Fwnrbdm:

2 Syr administration
3 Syr authority
4 Syr mode of life
5 Syr dispensation
6 Syr economy
LS2 140
LS2 v: mdab.rAnuwtA)

and for root rbd (type in CAL as dbr):

dbr N dbr)

2 Syr ground to be ploughed
3 Syr carrying
4 Syr agitation
5 JLATg impulse
LS2 140

TNMg 23227
R dbr

dbr#2 N dbr)

2 Syr desert

M v: dbar
cf. Ge'ez!

dbr#4 N > dwbr

dwbr N dwbr)

Do any of these mean 'fellowship' sufficiently enough to show that this is a true splt word? Are "institution", "to marry", etc viable meanings for 'fellowship'?

Hi, does anyone of you Aramaic dudes know if "mdbrnw" can mean fellowship also? If so, Larry has another split word.

Shlama Akhi Chris,

Unfortunately, I don't think we have a split word here. 'Medbranotha' has more to do with 'stewardship' and 'leadership' as opposed to 'fellowship'. The thing to consider here is a look-alike Greek word possibly. After all, 'oikonomia' (administration, "economy") sounds somewhat like 'koinonia' (fellowship) but maybe there's another answer as to why Zorba chose 'koinonia' as opposed to 'oikonomia'.

And I already wrote everything for it

Ah well, it can go in the 'similar words' article
