book of Hebrews: better from Greek, or Aramaic?
#54
The New Testament was originally in Aramaic, not Greek. The original Aramaic has "MRYA," which almost-always means 'Master YHWH.' The Greek translation uniformly turned MRYA, and the commonplace 'lord/ sir' into 'kurios'/ 'lord.' Yeshua the Meshikha is Master YHWH.

From https://www.thearamaicscriptures.com/maryayhwh.html
Here below are the total 215 instances of the word/title "MarYa" {The Lord-Ya} or, {The Lord-YHWH} in The Eastern Peshitta & Western Peshitto Aramaic New Testament Books, where it appears in 49 of those places, in the list below, (In Red) clearly showing that Eshu Meshikha {Yeshua, The Anointed One/The Messiah) IS MarYa {The Lord-Ya} or, {The Lord-YHWH}....

9 For whatsoever man there be that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. 10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. 11 And the man that lieth with his father’s wife—he hath uncovered his father’s nakedness—both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 12 And if a man lie with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have wrought corruption; their blood shall be upon them. 13 And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 14 And *if a man take with his wife also her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they;* that there be no wickedness among you.
