Where did 1 Chronicles 16:42 come from?
#1
Became aware of this important and interesting verse by Sebastian Brock. This appears in Lamsa's Bible
but have not encountered it anywhere else. In Lamsa's instead of singing and instruments praising the Lord
pure and perfect prayer with a pleasant mouth with righteousness and purity to the Lord God is the focus.

Where did Lamsa obtain this interesting and unusual verse?

Sorry I want to follow this thread but I do not see the support for that reading with what i currently have available to me.

It appears to come from the Syriac Old Testament. You can see the verse on page 259 from the bottom right to top left.
