I just printed out their course, along with the sections on Church and Animal vocabulary. How many of you have learned Aramaic with it? I'm planning on studying it and learning Aramaic. Hopefully it won't take to long!

Learn Assyrian is more for modern Assyrian Neo-Aramaic than, say, Classical Syriac. It's good, but it's not consistent with classical forms.

I had a feeling it would be that way. I'm hoping to get Wheeler Thackston's Syriac grammar soon.

I finished all Aramaic lessons on http://jesusspokearamaic.com/
I highly recommend them, very good quality, the best you could find around. Ewan also doubles the subscription time for those who join coming from peshitta.org/forum. So $25 for 2 months, if you live in a Western country that's very inexpensive (just skipping a few Starbucks). And he could accommodate if that amount is out of reach for some, he says (http://jesusspokearamaic.com/subscribe).
At this stage the lessons are very beginner level, for me they were very useful still. You will catch his bug of love and appreciation for Aramaic and the Bible as a whole in its original Semitic sister languages.
I am looking forward now to the intermediate level lessons.
Shlama,
