If you look in the upper right-hand corner of your post you will see EDIT and QUOTE. If you click on the Edit button you will be able to edit the post to fix any thing or even add to if if and when needs be. Of course you have to be logged in in order to see these. This way you do do not have to redo the whole thing over again, and if you want you can post another reply saying you fix/corrected/edited the original post above.
The QUOTE button lets you post the comment from another's post so that they and other can/might be able to track with where you are coming from. You can even delete some of their stuff to just quote the part you wish to comment on (such as the following example). Just be sure that you do not delete the bracketed stuff.
