Were Ignatius and Polycarp friends?
There was a letter written from Ignatius to Polycarp.
However, I haven't seen Polycarp calling Ignatius brother.

Does anyone know about these two early church fathers?

They were fellow Bishops in the late 1st, to early 2nd century. Ignatius was the Bishop of Antioch in Syria, and Polycarp, who was younger, was Bishop of Smyrna in Asia Minor, where Bishop Ignatius was traveling through to his Martyrdom about 115 A.D. at the hands of the Romans... He was about 90 years old at the time.

Is that letter in Aramaic?

No idea.
The letter is known as "The Epistle of Ignatius to Polycarp". It's a well-known epistle.
Here's the letter:

I'm just curious why I can't find any reply from Polycarp.

We'll...there was very little time to make a reply...as Ignatius was being led to Rome to be burned at the stake...but, Polycarp did write a letter to the Philippians.
