Translations Compared: Eastern or Western?
I have a bunch of new instances to add to this list...hopefully soon I'll update it.  Recently I have been examining a number of very old 5th-6th century Western Syrian Orthodox produced copies, and have seen clear evidence of later changing of the text of Acts 20:28 and Hebrews 2:9, which had the Eastern reading in them, but someone much later came in and scratched the words off and replaced them with other words to read like the Greek version used among them.

Acts 20:28
Originally reading    "...the Church of Christ, which He purchased with His own blood."
Then changed to     "...the Church of Alaha, which He purchased with His own blood."

Hebrews 2:9

Originally reading    "...who apart from Alaha, tasted death for everyone."
Then changed to     "...who by the grace of Alaha, tasted death for everyone."
One copy has it as   "...who by the will of Alaha, tasted death for everyone."

When I get the time, I will show the images of the places where the alterations to the original text was made.
