The main mistranslations I know about from the Lamsa Bible have to do with his passages on demonic possession. It's odd that Lamsa actually does translate "devana" accurately as demons in Luke 8 and in some other places. Another possible mistranslation is in II Kings 6 when the miracle of the floating axehead is performed. I know this could possibly be a textual variant between the Hebrew and Aramaic but I doubt it. I haven't really studied the Peshitta Old Testament enough to know! What are some other ones? I'm trying to get a more detailed view into the accuracy/inaccuracy of the Lamsa translation.
