Where did John the Mikvah man get the idea?

Where did John get the idea that Yeshua was the Lamb of God?

In the New Testament record of the Passover Seder you can make a connection between John the Baptist's words in John 1:29 and the Gospel's words in John 19:36. The words, "For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, 'Not one of His bones shall be broken,'" as explicit reference to the Passover Lamb in Exodus 12:46. But to find some reference from writtings in that day, I had to go to the Dead Sea Scrolls... The parchment is called The Testament of Joseph and it contains the verse
Quote:2 Joseph 77 Do ye therefore, my children, observe the commandments of the LORD, and honor Levi and Judah; for from them shall arise unto you the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world, one who saveth all the Gentiles and Israel.
