Lake or Sea?
#1
In the Greek NT, we have two words for the 'lake of Galilea' ie: Thalassa, and 'limn?'

the Greek gospel of Luke, uses the Greek word for (limn?) and the other synoptic gospels, have 'thalassa' which, in fact, means 'sea'.

It looks as if our Greek 'Zorba', did not really have a clue for the size of the lake of Galilea, which really IS a lake, not a mediteranic size.

However, this argument could be replied with, that the Septuagint also uses 'thalassa' for 'Jam-Kinnereth'.

Anyway, the Greek Gospels do not show a single choice, a single way of translation for the word 'yam'
