The same word for 'life/habitation/residence/sojourn' (wmr) is also used in 1 Timothy 2:2 where it clearly indicates to the life (living) not the homes or mansions, or territories of people.
As indicated; the word 'wmr', also can be translated to habitation and so the Greek bible has katoika, which means habitations/territories.
The Greek Paul thus says that mankind?s habitation is limited between certain boundaries. However, I doubt if Paul's listeners really understood it that way. Even now, there are people (scientists, soldiers) living on Antarctica. No Godly finger restricted them from living there.
But, if Paul said: "Mankind is limited of age(life), God set the boundaries." YES, I understand that. (See also Lamsa bible)
