Aramaic audio or online courses
#1
Hi everyone

I've been trying to find audio of the Aramaic New Testament for learning pronunciation. I found the full NT at http://bitflow.dyndns.org/aramaic/AudioBible/ however it is at normal speaking speed and difficult to learn from. Maybe someone knows of Aramaic audio at learning speed. Even one chapter would be a great help to get a feel for the vowel sounds.

In the archives of this forum there are references to audio files that Paul Younan created, however, I can't find these on the site anywhere. I guess they've been removed.

Also, I've tried to find university or otherwise courses, for online learning of Aramaic but there doesn't seem to be anything available.

Just in case anyone can help out.

Thank you
Stephen

Thanks Aaron for the link - I am using a Mac and there is no sound, so will have to try and listen on a PC somewhere.

Much appreciated.

The file contains audio for the first 11 verses of John 1: press the boxed verse numbers to play the sound... someone else also had a problem with it on their Mac.
