When Paul founded Christianity in the city of Antioch, he was no longer a Jew. He had converted to his own system of beliefs. (Acts 11:26) Judaism is not a race that one cannot cease belonging to it. There is more than one way to lose one's Jewishness. One of them is to confess loyalty to another religion.
