Oh, that's also from 1 Corinthians! Chapter 10. Clarifying what I said earlier, I think Paul was making the case that if you don't know if it's been sacrificed to an idol, don't worry about it, because an idol is nothing. But if you do know, that's a different story, and it's therefore best to avoid it. After all, one does not want to openly support idolatry! (or give the wrong impression to others)
