Shlama all--
Just thought I would let you guys know that my injury is healing. I haven't spoken about this recently but last week I became "weight bearing is tolerated" which means that I am limited only by my pain threshhold in terms of my ability to walk. I still can't drive, but I can get around a bit on a cane.
When I got X-rayed last week, the doctor said that I still have a fracture area on the top left side, but the fracture below is solid and healed, which is why I can walk, and walking is the ONLY way to heal the remainder and keep having my leg muscles further atrophied.
What is coming is a medical appointment on Oct 20th, at which point I may be cleared for a return to work. Meanwhile I need to of course discharge my responsibilities with this sacred time of year. Basically next week I will know the date that I can get back to my secular responsibilities.
The combination of these sacred and secular duties will most certainly curtail my available time for a while.
