Need help - translation
#1
Hi all!

I'm getting a tattoo in Aramaic (or is Syriac-Aramaic the language Jesus spoke?).
I've been trying to find Galatians 6:17 translated correctly, and want to confirm that I have it right.
There might be different translations for the different dialects, so if any of you know which is the dialect Jesus spoke, and the correct translation of Galatians 6:17, I'd be grateful.

I found this on another website (http://aramaicnewtestament.net/epistle/galatians_6.htm);

17 ?????????????? ?????? ?????????? ???????????? ?????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????????? ???????????????????????? ?????????????? ???????????? ?????????????????? ?????????? ????????????
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
GALATIANS 6:17: "Henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus."

Is this correct?
Thanks for your help!

(will put) amrn (not) al (trouble) alme (a person) sna (on me) yl (therefore) lykm 17
(Yeshua) ewsy (of our Lord) Nrmd (the scars) htmtwk (for) ryg (I) ana
(I) ana (have received *) lyqs (in my body) yrgpb

"Therefore, let not a person trouble me, for I bear on my body the scars of our Lord Yeshua."

(* lyqs strangely is also used of crucifixion as ???lifted up??? on a cross.)

I must say that I consider it blasphemous to equate a tatoo with the scars of our Lord The Messiah.
The Apostle Paul had been whipped many times for his faith in Messiah Yeshua; once he was stoned and left for dead.

How can you, Winter, get a tatoo which in effect says that a tatoo is the same as the scars of The Christ?

Curious,

Dave
