Help :)
#10
Hi Jasmine,

The Jewish Prayer book uses yy" - double Yodh ,as an abbreviation for Yahweh. Usually it is read as "Adonai" in reverence for this most holy of Names. That is to be admired in the Jewish tradition. The Hebrew scribes would copy the Name but never pronounce it , substituting "Adonai" for pronunciation. Certainly they know it is the Divine Name.

Revelation 14:10 illustrates how The Greek writers translate the Semitic Name 0yrm"MarYah" variously, usually "Kurios" ("Lord" ) and here as "Theou" from "Theos", which means "God".

You are right about Samaria. I thought I had weeded them out from the references; guess I missed a few.

Blessings in 9w$y 0yrm "MarYah Yeshua",

Dave
