From what I gather from your post, it appears as though there is nothing but speculation that the Qu'ran was translated from Syro-Aramaic. Considering that Arabic is a later evolution from Aramaic, it is only natural that loan words would occur. As Akhan Paul pointed out, even the books of Moses in the Old Testament contain local (Egyptian) loan words.

Judaism excersizes much of this kind of logically deduced speculation all the time; and it is not uncommon for Jewish scholars (such as Pinchas Lapide and Shmuel Safrai) who study the New Testament to believe that it was originally written in Mishnaic Hebrew, not Greek or Aramaic. They will often times rate their logical reconstruction over and against the text itself.

Liberal scholarship does this kind of thing for the sole reason of "questing for knowledge" itself.
