Chris, why would I lie here in front of folks?
I didn't say that to upset you, you told me that in a post:
You made this post when I was continually confronting you about being born again, and it shows you are not. You didn't answer accordingly, as a born again person would have. A born again person will head to Jesus's sacrifice in front of all and preach it to the tops of the mountains the first time he is questioned (not after being badgered by it), and begin listing the things he did "after" he was born again also. You did not do any of that. That is the standard that anyone would adhere to that is of the renewed spirit.
From that post of yours, I understood where the confusion came from between us and our understanding of scripture. Without the born again experience, and the following indwelling of The Holy Spirit experience, the veil is still there for you in the scriptures, so I backed off finally.
It is not some underhanded or mean thing here I'm doing, you admitted to this Chris, so I realized it and backed off from you. There is no reason for me to badger you with scripture to win you over, nor am I trying to make you look bad or embarass you over this. I understand fully and I have asked Father to give you a desire to understand what Jesus commanded about being born anew.
Again, I didn't lie about this to anyone, nor was I out to make you look bad Chris. I tested the spirits here, as per 1 John, and you failed in this. I'm truly sorry if you feel betrayed and upset, but I wanted to know, and we are commanded to make sure of such things at all times.
We were not having fellowship here with the exception of worldly things, such as condors debate, so The Lord had me do the test. I have not done that for a while, so I pretty much forgot to ask up front, I just assumed you were if you were here. I should have asked at day one I guess, then we could have avoided much of the heated arguements.
