The only information I've found on Wichelhaus is that (1)his first name is Johannes (2) he was a professor (3) he wrote a commentary on Matthew (4) he wrote a book concerning the Alexandrian text of Jeremiah (5) he says that the Peshito resembles the autographs of the Apostles (page 46 of Norton's book), but then he does a total about-face trying to prove that it does not have apostolic authority and on pages 47-50 of Norton's book is a very powerful rebuttal of his position.
