Acts 2:47
#1
Shlama Akhay,

In the Bezan Greek text, we read with astonishment:

Quote:"..praising God and having favor with all the world (k??smon). And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."

In all other Greek manuscripts, we read:

Quote:"..praising God and having favor with all the people (la??n). And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."

The original Aramaic word used in Acts 2:47 is 0m9 ("Aama", people.) This was confused for 0ml9 ("Aalma", world.) There is only 1 letter difference between the two words.
