"before the boy will learn to know good or evil, he maasas evil to elect good..."
Since I trust more context than dictionaries then to "force evil" does not make sense.
In LXX it means to "reject evil".
Since Jesus Christ was sinless then it sounds that before the child came telling good from evil he already rejected evil. It makes complete sense.
