Thanks for the heads up Jeremy...I have never heard of this Panin edition before, so I would like to get some info on both sides of the issue. So, according to David Bauscher, the 1920 UBS Western Peshitto text is flawless and the Original N.T. and now according to some, Panin's Greek reconstructed text is as well....can't have two flawless Orginal N.T.s can we? Unless they agree in every respect as to their wording/message.
To me...The Holy Message comes through LOUD AND CLEAR in all of the language versions...even if they may not be perfect in their transmission of copies and integrity of textual transmission. We can check pretty easy nowdays the various sources that exist, if we need to get to the bottom of an issue of a verse variant.
