Learning Aramaic and Hebrew

Hi everyone. Could we start a thread about learning aramaic/syriac and hebrew? If there is one here I haven't found it. I would really like to be able to read the bible in the original languages, but I don't know where to start. I'm in the Chicago area and I'm even considering visiting the ACOE, at some point in the future, if I ever become good with the aramaic....
