Regarding the article, it has little to do with religious texts, such as the Peshitta. It demonstrates that some Syriac Christians altered several other of their manuscripts, such as letters, poetry, etc, to self-affirm themselves in the face of Islamic rule. At the end of the article, it shows pictures of the altered manuscripts.
