A New Forum Section
#1
Shlama all,

I was just thinking that maybe we should put a new section here, either as a forum or left panel feature, of all the cool links we have collectively found on Google Books and Internet Archive. Eventually I am thinking of doing this on the AENT website by topic. But if we all bring those links together we can also periodically check to make sure the links are still active.

The only thing I don't know is how this will affect any bandwidth considerations here, but I am hoping that just using the links alone will minimize storage issues.

I think that's a great idea, Andrew. It will make things a lot easier than having to go through countless forums and posts to find that one link.

Shlama Akhi Andrew,

Speaking of cool links from Googe Books and Internet Archive, there's a book entitled 'Hebraisms in the Greek Testament.' This would be some "heavy artillery" for the Semitic Syntax section of the forum which hasn't had a post since the one by 'Karl' dated Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008. Check out his comment on how rough the Greek is on a phrase in Mark 6:52..... http://www.us.archive.org/GnuBook/?id=h ... uiluoft#97

Shlama Andrew,

I wonder if you remember me, I had this idea myself too, I have some links already saved already as I have been looking through the forum, and book recommendations that aren't available online. What has been done so far with gathering the links?

Take care, I really believe in the work we are all doing by the way.
