For Those Who Are Suffering Or Have Experienced Loss

I Hope that Akhan Paul won't mind if I post these here.

I found these three wonderful pieces (TURN UP YOUR COMPUTERS SPEAKERS):

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://mcc.org/news/news/2006/2006-02-20_lordsprayer-syriac.html">http://mcc.org/news/news/2006/2006-02-2 ... yriac.html</a><!-- m -->

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.greatdanepro.com/somewhere%20in%20time/index.htm">http://www.greatdanepro.com/somewhere%2 ... /index.htm</a><!-- m -->

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ksbj.org/eblogs/morningShow/">http://www.ksbj.org/eblogs/morningShow/</a><!-- m -->

This last one mentions "God". If you find that Word offensive, then DON'T listen.

OK,

Check out these first two videos.

Try to copy their URL onto YOUR computer, you CAN'T, because they've been "changed"

I can think of another word that has 6 letters and starts with H_ _ _ _D (and ends with D).

That word also describes what has happened to these two URL's.

Too bad this happened, at least one can still open them up from here at Peshitta.org.

Shlama, Albion

Shlama Albion,

Not exactly sure what you mean, but I think they appear to have "changed" because long URL's get shortened in the hyperlinked text of the URL itself. I don't think there's any funny business going on.

For example,
A short URL like <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://abc.com/">http://abc.com/</a><!-- m --> doesn't get shortened, but if I put a really long link like this <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=on&q=aramaic+peshitta+interlinear&btnG=Search">http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe ... tnG=Search</a><!-- m --> it appears to get shortened. It's only the hyperlinked text that actually gets shortened. This is probably to keep a long link from messing up the formatting of the page, and as you said, it won't work if you copy and paste it in your browser because your actually copying text and not the hyperlink itself.

I hope that made since. <!-- sHuh --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/huh.gif" alt="Huh" title="Huh" /><!-- sHuh --> <!-- s:lookround: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/lookround.gif" alt=":lookround:" title="Look Round" /><!-- s:lookround: -->

Blessings,
Ya'aqub

Thanks Yaaqub,

I'm tired. And more than a little paranoid.

"Battle fatigue" they called it in World War II.

I appreciate your help!
