Study 2Timothy 3:14-17 in-depth and let the text speak for itself about Paul's posture towards Torah. Here's an abstract of what I see in this passage: Clearly from the text, Paul put great value in the Torah and, as the Peshitta text says, Timothy's abiding in the age-old principles of Torah which he learned from his youth. Then what scriptures is he referring to when he speaks of the Set-Apart writings that Timothy has known since childhood?
