You are correct, you would expect a "synonym split word" if Paul's theory is correct. In fact, it somewhat disturbs me that this is the only example I have. One would expect more, if all the main Greek mss are different translations. Anyways: compare John 11:5 of Western text with the other Greek mss, perfect example, I only wish there were more <!-- s ![]() ![]() ![]() |
