The Antioch Bible Set from Gorgias Press - Study2Learn - 05-19-2013

Shlama to all,

The Antioch Bible Set from Gorgias Press has an impressive lineup of international, inter-faith scholars. George A. Kiraz will prepare the Syriac text and be a co-editor with Andreas Juckel. George Kiraz put together SEDRA (Syriac Electronic Data Retrieval Archive) distributed by the Syriac Computing Institute.
One of the scholars, Edward M. Cook, is well-known for his English translation of the Targum of Psalms as well as the role he played in co-authoring "The Dead Sea Scrolls: A New Translation". http://www.gorgiaspress.com/bookshop/t- ... bible.aspx

Peace & Blessings, Larry Kelsey

My question is Why is so expensive? 30 volumes, each one $75.00, Wow! $2,250. The other complain I have is that they don't use the Strangela Script, so if you are more familiar with the Strangela will be more complicated to read this Bible.

30 volumes in itself is ridiculous!

Logically, they want more money. But, here is a solution: we can share the cost. Lol.
I do not know about it but I feel it is next step of the universal corruption.
