"Dalmanutha" or "Land of Oppression" - Charles Wilson - 12-05-2012
Mark 8:10 (RSV):
"[10] And he sent them away; and immediately he got into the boat with his disciples, and went to the district of"... "Dalmanu'tha" or "Land of Oppression".
In another Aramaic Translation, now offline, this verse is translated, "Land of Oppression". On this site, it is "Dalmanutha".
Are there reasons either way for one or the other?
Is "Land of Oppression" a proper translation?
