1 Cor. 11 - BenEfraym - 04-09-2012

Can anyone help me to know the difference of these three words in Aramaic:

1 Cor. 11:33

1 Cor. 11:21

For both seem to say the same thing. That is, dinner, supper and banquet.

What differentiates one from another?

thank you

On you can look up the words or verses with different translations

1Corinthians 11:21 - but each man his own supper before eateth, and one is hungry, and one drunken.
1Corinthians 11:21 - But, one and another proceedeth to eat his own supper; and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
1Corinthians 11:21 - But some men eat their supper before others: and so it happens that one is hungry and another is drunken.

1Corinthians 11:33 - Wherefore, my brethren, when you assemble to eat, wait for one another.
1Corinthians 11:33 - Wherefore, my Brethren, when ye assemble to eat, wait ye one for another.
1Corinthians 11:33 - Hereafter, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
