Comprehensive Aramaic Lexicon - tom.c.schmidt - 06-24-2011
I am new to Syriac, and I have been trying to use the comprehensive Aramaic lexicon, but I can't get the lexical analysis to work. If I go to "text browse" and select "Syriac" and then select a text and then select a line (For example this <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://cal1.cn.huc.edu/cgi-bin/analysis.cgi?voffset=60043%200">http://cal1.cn.huc.edu/cgi-bin/analysis ... =60043%200</a><!-- m -->) it returns no entries. Anyone know why?
Also can CAL morphologically analyze a word? For example can I enter word and it tell me what person and number it is? Or is that only available for texts that are already entered into CAL? (Is it available for texts that are already entered into CAL?)

The analysis seems not to be fully functioning at the moment. It should be shown on a link as per your example, but seems to be somewhat crippled from the previous hack/malware attack.

Thanks! So its not just me. When fully functioning can CAL morphologically analyze a word or is that reserved for texts that are already part of the database?
