What about this rendering of Revelation 9:11 (Crawford) - distazo - 05-23-2010 Somebody I know, who also is into translation, but he knows a lot more than I do about Aramaic and Hebrew. According to him, Revelation 9:11 could be translated to the following: "And a high ranked king carried out his decree. Hebrews called his name 'slave' and Arameans 'gang leader'." Well, this sounds not impossible, but he used the root-word translation using the context. What do you think about this possibility of Rev 9:11?
