3 Variants in Hebrews - Burning one - 11-29-2009 Shlama, i just recently finished a personal translation of Hebrews, and i ran across three variant Greek readings that, although minor, make complete sense within the scope of the corresponding Aramaic word. (KJV) the variants: exebhsan --- In ??*, A, D*, P, 33, 81, 365, 1175, 1241, 1739, 1881, pc --- "to go forth, as in walking" exhlqon --- In ??2, D2, Y, Byz --- "to go or come out of" Peshitta reads: [font="Estrangelo (V1.1)"]wqpnd[/font] -- amply covering the idea of "going forth or coming out" of somewhere.
